Future plan

The future plans of the Department of Information and Communication Technology are as follows:

1. As it is a newly created government office and it is not yet possible to fully recruit manpower for

all the offices at the district and upazila level, detailed activities have been undertaken to recruit manpower.

2. Training programs have been intensified at various levels to make the people at the field level computer literate.

3. To provide all possible support to the ICT activities of all the offices of the upazila including the best use of Sheikh Russell Digital Lab.

4. Introduce e-filing activities in all departments.

5. Proper launch of all types of e-services.
